Independence
Why a Prova grade can be trusted.
Prova is two structurally separate firms. The firm that grades evidence has built nothing in it, so its grade has nothing to protect. This is exactly how that separation works, and what it commits Prova to.
The wall
Two structurally separate firms, with separate books. No client, and no body of evidence, is served by both. The firm that grades a body of evidence has built nothing in it, which is what lets a grade mean something.
Prova Method · independent assessment
Reads the evidence and grades the strongest claim it honestly supports. It does not run the programs it assesses, does not bid on the evaluation work it reviews, and its fee never depends on the finding.
Prova Field · building the evidence
A structurally separate firm that helps you find or build the evidence. It makes no independence claim, and never grades the evidence it helps create. You keep what it builds.
The commitments
What the separation means in practice.
- Separate books. Prova Method and Prova Field are two firms, with separate books. No client, and no body of evidence, is served by both.
- No stake in the finding. Prova Method’s fee is agreed in advance and never contingent on what it finds.
- No bidding on what it reviews. Prova Method does not bid on the evaluation work it independently reviews, and conflicts are disclosed before work begins.
- It does not build and grade the same evidence. The firm that grades a body of evidence has built nothing in it.
- Field makes no independence claim. Prova Field helps find or build evidence in a plain advisory capacity, and never also grades it. You own what it builds.
